Vitamin C has long been a popular ingredient in skincare, and is well known for its antioxidant properties. For Rodial, our founder Maria Hatzistefanis wanted to respond to customers' requests for a range that brightened and reduced pigmentation, but that also combined it with other ingredients for multiple benefits.

With most brands only offering offering serums at the time, Maria decided to combine vitamin C with mild exfoliating acids in a pad – not offered by any other brands at the time. The Vit C Brightening Cleansing Pads blend vitamin C with glycolic and lactic acids to gently break down build-up and resurface skin whole also brightening skin. They're suitable for daily use and are now one of our bestselling products, and often credited with helping a range of skin concerns from dullness to congestion and breakouts. Other products in the range like the Brightening Tonic and Cleanser follow a similar formula, with the moisturisers combining vitamin C with hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid and squalene.
